Resumo
O estudo da idade à primeira cria nas raças guzerá, suíça e
mestiças F1 dessas duas raças evidenciou respectivamente as seguintes médias em
meses: 43,78 ± 1,00; 44,11 ± 0,60 e 33,06 ± 0,59. Com referência ao
intervalo entre partos, também para os três grupos raciais, as médias em
dias foram: 2,68;
455,30 ± 3,31 e 416,00 ± 1,90.

Abstract
The
experirnent was carried out at the Estação Experimental of Pindamonhangaba and
Araçatuba, the Instituto de Zootecnia, State of São Paulo. Studying the age at
first calving and inter-calving periods in two pure breed Guzerá cattle and
Schwyz and crossbred
F1 (Schwyz x Guzerá) . The average ages at first calving were 43.8;
44. 1 and 33. 1 months, for Guzera, Schwyz and crossbred respectively. The
average ages of the inter-calving period, were 448.2; 455.3; and 416.0 days for
the same breeds respectively.
