Efeito do nível de ingestão na digestibilidade de rações completas fornecidas a zebuínos
Resumo

Para estudar o efeito do nível de ingestão na digestibilidade em zebuínos, foram conduzidos 3 ensaios em 1988/89 e 3 em 1989/90, usando 3 níveis de ingestão: A - à vontade; B - ca.70 e C - ca.55g de MS/kg PV^0,75. A ração era composta de 60% de silagem e 40% de concentrado, base seca, coni ca. 12% de PB. As ingestões médias de MS (g/kg PV^0,75) e as digestibilidades da MS (%) observadas para os níveis A, B e C foram de 72,4 e 62,6; 64,4 e 64,8; 51,4 e 68,9 em 88/89 e de 86,7 e 68,6; 80,4 e 66,6; 59,5 e 70,9 em 89/90, respectivamente. Em 88/89, o aumento do nível de ingestão causou uma diminuição linear (p < 0,05) nos coeficientes de digestibilidade de todos os parâmetros analisados, enquanto que em 89/90 o aumento não foi significativo. Nos ensaios conduzidos em 89/90, o coeficiente de digestibilidade observado para o nível A, B e C não mostrou diferenças.

Effect of intake on the digestibility of complete rations fed to zebu cattle
Abstract

To study the effect of intake level on the digestibility of complete rations fed to Zebu bulls, three trial were carried out in 1988/89 and three in 1989/90 utilizing three treatments: A - "ad libitum"; B - 70 and C - 55g DM/kg LW^0,75. The rations had 60% silage and 40% concentrate, with 12% CP. The dry matter intake and digestibility for the treatments A, B and C were, respectively, 72.4 and 62.6; 64.4 and 64.8; 51.4 and 68.9 in 88/89 and of 86.7 and 68.6; 80.4 and 66.6; 59.5 and 70.9 in 89/90. In 1988/89 the increase in the intake level resulted in linear decrease (p < 0.05) or the digestibility coefficients of all the parameters studied, while in 1989/90 this effect was not significant. On these trials the digestibility coefficient of the A, B and C treatment did not show difference.
